The 5th grade class at Meadowlark Elementary took a field trip to Rowe Sanctuary, a Platte River Wildlife Preserve. Here I am leading a group of students into the "Haunted Forest."

During a math lesson, I decided to explain to students what capacity was by filling up a cylinder (jug) with water.

For most of the semester the students and I played a variety of games at recess. In this picture we are playing "knock out," which has become the class's favorite game.
